Student Credit Card Payments
Now your students can pay for their lessons online with their credit card!
You won't have to worry about collecting checks anymore or running to the bank every week to
make deposits. Your students can make a one-time payment anytime, or even setup an automatic
withdrawal from their bank account every month. This feature is included with every Music Teacher's Helper account
at no extra charge!
Now works with the following currencies: USD ($), CAD ($), AUD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), JPY (¥)
All that is required for you to receive online payments from your students is
a Paypal Business or Premier Account.
If you don't have one, you can get one for free by clicking here! If you already have a Paypal personal account, you can upgrade it to a business account, or simply sign up for a new business account.

As with all credit card merchants, Paypal will take a small percentage of each transaction (usually below 3%. View Paypal's transaction fees) A small price to pay for the convenience and the time you'll save.
Setting Up Online Student Payments
Once you have a Paypal Business Account, simply log into Music Teacher's Helper, go to the "Home" menu, and click "Preferences". Then just put a check in the box to "Enable Student Online Payments", and enter your Paypal Business Account Email Address. That's it!
Then, when your adult students or parents log into Music Teacher's Helper, on their "Billing" menu, they will see an option for "Online Payment". They will see how much they currently owe you, and can then decide whether they want to make a one-time payment to you (no Paypal account required for them), or setup a recurring payment so you will be paid automatically every month. They enter the amount, click "Pay", and your money is on it's way!

Automatic Data Entry
You can also setup your Paypal account to tell Music Teacher's Helper to automatically record the payments you receive. This can save you lots of time doing data entry. To enable automatic data entry, log into your Paypal account, click "Profile" under the "My Account" tab, then "Instant Payment Notification Preferences". Enable IPN by clicking Edit and typing in this address: http://www.musicteachershelper.com/studentpayment/
Then, when your students' payments have cleared, Paypal's system instantly notifies Music Teacher's Helper that there was a payment, and we add the payment to your account so you won't have to do ANY data entry for it! Talk about a time saver!
